Birds of the Night Encounter

Get up close and personal with Ragen our hand-raised Australian Boobook Owl, Barkley the Tawny Frogmouth and Athena the Lesser Sooty Owl. Australian Boobook Owl’s are Australia’s smallest owl species. Ragen was hand-raised from just a few hours old! Feel his amazingly soft feathers, feel the strength of his talons. Hand feed him his favourite treat, mealworms!

You will also get to meet one of our amazing Tawny Frogmouths. Learn about their amazing camouflage skills and their adaptations for catching flying insects. Feed them a special treat!

Refunds: Tickets are non-refundable. Date changes are permitted up to a maximum of 1 year from the initial purchase date. All date changes must be made a minimum of three (3) days prior to the booked date of the encounter. A no show on the day will result in the animal encounter being forfeited.
