Japanese Quail

The Japanese Quail is a small bird species that is native to Japan and China but also kept as a poultry bird and as a pet. They have a distinctive brown plumage with small white spots. They are known for their small size and their ability to lay a high number of eggs. They are often kept on farms or backyard for eggs and meat production. They feed mainly on seeds, grains, fruits and vegetables.
