Kakariki Parakeet

The Kakariki Parakeet is a small parrot species that is native to New Zealand. They have a distinctive green plumage with a red or orange patch on their forehead. They are known for their playful behavior, intelligence and their ability to mimic human speech. They feed mainly on fruits, seeds, vegetables and small insects. They are also kept as pets.
