Mallard Duck

The Mallard Duck is a large dabbling duck species that is native to North America and Eurasia. They are known for their distinctive green head and yellow bill, and brown plumage. They are often found in freshwater wetlands, rivers and urban parks and feed mainly on aquatic plants, insects and small fish. They are also kept as domesticated ducks and are used for their eggs and meat.
